The city-smashing monster movie debuts on the Netflix, streaming platform on December 1.
Back in July, Netflix shared a very brief sneak peek of its upcoming monster movie Troll, which immediately piqued our interest with its minimalist but sensationalist format.
As it turns out, we’ll finally get to see Troll on the streaming platform in a month’s time, on December 1st, and as usual, the first long trailer from the project has arrived.
The film is directed by Roar Uthaug, who previously directed the rebooted and since-cancelled Tomb Raider. The director doesn’t even try to hide the fact that he wants to make a Norwegian kaiju movie with one of the most famous monsters in Norse mythology – accordingly, the trailer is not short of urban mayhem.
Ine Marie Wilmann, Kim S. Falck-Jorgensen, Mads Sjogard Pettersen and Gard B. Eidsvold are in the main roles.
