John Cena is always on hand for his fans – and he’s delivered another heart-warming moment after a WWE show over the weekend.

The wrestler turned Hollywood star is back in the fold on SmackDown again as he prepares for his huge SummerSlam match with Roman Reigns, and he’s clearly enjoying being around his fans again.

In a clip uploaded to social media, Cena can be seen in his wrestling gear – his new green signature t-shirt and jorts – as he gets introduced to a young boy in an almost identical outfit after the event.

After posing for a picture and signing the youngster’s t-shirt, the former world champion was then asked if he could walk with him, and he was happy to oblige.

A woman helped the boy out of his wheelchair and held onto his hand as Cena put an arm around him so they could enjoy a stroll side by side.

The young fan looked overjoyed at getting to walk with his hero as holds tight onto the champ’s shirt before Cena suggested they go backwards and leads the lad in reverse.

The woman helped him back into his wheelchair, and he immediately reached out to the star, with the wrestler – who only removed his mask to pose for a picture when they first met – pulling him in for a big hug.

What’s also admirable is partway through the video, the F9 actor still found time to interact with another fan and sign their replica championship before turning his attention back to the youngster.

The way Cena deals with his fans is nothing short of incredible, as he’s also met over 650 kids through the Make A Wish Foundation since 2004.

There’s no doubt the whole Cenation – John’s nickname for his followers in WWE – will be cheering him on as he chases a record breaking 17th world title against current Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Cena made his comeback at Money In The Bank on July 18 and while he’s yet to have a televised match, he’s been teaming with Rey and Dominik Mysterio off the air against Roman and his cousins The Usos.
